Job Purpose



The Training & Competency Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining training and competency assurance programs for personnel supporting offshore drilling rig operations. The role ensures that all employees, contractors, and offshore personnel possess the required qualifications, certifications, licenses, and competencies to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company, client, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Minimum Requirements



• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, Education, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in training administration, competency management, workforce development, or personnel coordination within Oil & Gas, drilling, marine, mining, logistics, or industrial environments.
• Experience supporting offshore drilling operations or rotational workforces preferred.
• Knowledge of competency assurance systems and training management processes.
• Familiarity with offshore certification and training requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), HRIS, or competency management software.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
